The British has late opening hours on some days of the week, so you can enjoy some of the more popular galleries without having to trip over tourists and school parties. Very useful, that. Other worthwhile museums to visit in London are the Imperial War Museum, the Museum of Childhood (Bethnal Green) and the Museum of the Home, formerly the Geffrye Museum (Hoxton).

Never been to the NRM, but it's on the bucket list, along with the Royal Armouries and the National Space Centre.

My favourite is the V&A but then I like furniture

Morning.
It is grey and damp out but not raining. It looked a bit hopeful earlier with small patches of blue and orange sky.
I bought a brick bolster chisel yesterday, I hoping that I can make a crank separating tool out of it. I need to grind it down so that it is tapered and then cut a slot into it to fit around the BB axle. There is only a small gap between the face of the BB and the back of the crank.

Went to see Swan Lake last night. All done in the dark with LED costumes. Interesting.

Nice dinner at Zizzi beforehand

Good morning from Suffolk where we've had a bit of everything so far today - mostly cloud, a smidgen of sunshine and bigger splosh of rain.

Coffee and a lie in listening to the radio have been had after a very good night's sleep. As there's currently a gap in the dampness from above, I'll be shortly popping out to get some food for the weekend and then see what the afternoon brings.

Morning rain ceased, due back all afternoon. Twix coffees a recycling trek to B&Q to dispose of the crackling radio, a tablet keyboard that belonged to a tablet that died years ago and pre smart meter electric use sensor and its display.
Definitely cooler than yesterday and far less people out walking.
