Ebike outing quickly terminated. I had not checked the battery and once the display indicator turned red I decided I best head home. Actually occurred where a loop rather than U turn was possible so not as dumb a Strava track as it might have been.

I realised how much I hate the A45 about 100 yards on to it with a BMW flashing his lights at me to move over whilst I am overtaking an artic .....

Cup of tea in the recovery ward. A bad case of anaemia is my diagnosis
So a problem with the bus meant I'd have no way of making my appointment. So came home and tried to phone the hospital only to 1st have an automated switch board thinking it knows best. Once i'd finally convinced it that I did know who to speak to I was met with out patients answer machine. So thought had enough for today will try tomorrow.
But Then came a right result hour later the consultant phoned asking if a know I had an appointment this morning. So explained I'd only found out yesterday , so he did the appointment over the phone. He even booked all my blood tests and CT scan for May at my local hospital as he talked to me. So turned out even better than I thought.

I've been out for an hour and a bit's worth of exercise this afternoon and the fog has given way to being merely misty. The vibrant yellow of daffodils doesn't half stand out in these grey conditions.
Another bike has been cleaned and more coffee and squash have been drunk. I'll give it an hour before taking the car to the garage as it's directly opposite the local primary school and on the main route to the adjoining village for the secondary school in the other direction.

I tried to phone the CT scan department to change an appointment.
They were able to cancel the appointment, but said "they cannot give appointments over the phone." Why not transfer me to someone who can?

Just had a shock!
I just rang my friend to tell him that the brushes for my grinder had arrived. He told me that a friend we both knew died at 3 today! He had had a stroke at the weekend and was on life support. He was 67!
