The sky is flying under a blue, grey and white flag this morning. With a bit of flapping in the brisk breeze.

My post-biopsy arse is still in R&R so I'm going to take a bath and see whether I can keep off the dihydrocodeine because they gum me up so I'd then need to take laxatives which lead to rather severe irritation. Besides, they don't so much relieve pain as remove me from the pain (and the sentient world).

It is very sunny here, so if you need me, I will be out in the garden.
And if you don't need me, I will be out in the garden.

did some stuff outside, out back yesterday. little doses of this is manageable. still have lots to do, such as bring all the winter outdoor tools into the basement & bring up a few summer items. not ready for the beach footwear yet

Slight panic doing work visits this afternoon in sunny but flipping windy weather. Car keys suddenly absent. Back tracked and eventually found them, it was the white of a key fob store card that drew my attention to them.
Petrol was still the same price at Tesco so I refilled it and the gauge going from 3/4 to full cost over £17.

A mostly sunny day here chez Casa Reynard after overnight rain, but a chilly one thanks to the rather brisk westerly.

Slept well enough again, but not as much as I'd have liked. No matter. The standard morning chores were scudded through pretty quickly. Also did some vacuuming (to Madam Boo's dismay), as well as doing some paperwork / accounts. I haven't heard anything back yet from anyone, so in terms of the formalities, I'm still currently in limbo.

Took advantage of the weather and went lumberjilling again. I only hauled in one heaped wheelbarrow of logs today, but I did fell three small-ish dead trees that I found near where I've been working, cut them up into lengths and built a tepee stack with them so that the wood doesn't get too wet when it rains. Also clipped half a wheelbarrow of small wood.

Then a rather late luncheon of avocado on toast, cheese & biscuits, some grapes and a :cuppa:

Did a bit more tidying up, put the black bag out for collection in the morning, and then treated myself to a nice girly pamper session. I'm now sat by the fire and listening to Leverkusen v Arsenal in the Champions League.
