Morning.
Grey and damp here although it isn't raining at the moment.
I have to take my friend's bike to a LBS to try to remove a stubborn BB cup. I will be glad to see the back of that bike. 8 do usually as he always zooms off on a group ride. I had a leisurely ride with a couple of friends last week and we had a nice time with no rushing around.

Good morning from an overcast but dry Suffolk. Coffee has been had after a very good night's sleep.

All is go for today's outing - just got to make up a drinks bottle then I'm off to the train station for the outbound trip to Stowmarket, a leisurely 3+ hours ride along the back roads through the countryside to Norwich for lunch & drinks followed by the train home.

I'm not working on his bike ever again!
I've just had to clear the back of our car and fold down the rear seats. It was a struggle to get it in , it's heavy and large. My hands are black after lifting it in and that's after I washed it several times. I will now have to drive over to a LBS to see if they can remove the BB cup. If they do I will have the delightful task of working on it when I get back.

Pre first coffee Co-Op trek with no app vouchers involved as I forgot to get any chicken breasts and the soup was 90p dearer than their app is saying it is.
Washing hung out. 30mph gusts predicted so it should dry quickly.

Morning trip for a blood test, lucky I still qualify for them being done at the hospital. Not the nice shiny Wes big dream diagnostic centre miles away. Standing waiting for them to open the doors, I spotted a number of staff wearing the new national NHS uniform. From the very start it was a mess and not thought though. Having seen them they look even more of a mess, totally confusing and look so cheep.

SWMBO would like two rooms painting - the downstairs office and son no. 1's old bedroom.

So ... samples selected and on the walls. Sort of. They're a ... bit ... messy. But hopefully enough for her to choose. Or decide to select more samples.
