It's been a mild but mostly cloudy day here chez Casa Reynard.
Slept well enough - just under six hours. Still not enough, but better than the other night. So the usual
was made, taken upstairs, and I settled in bed to do some writing and admin. Registrar's appointment for Thursday was cancelled, so had to re-book. Why the cluck didn't they tell me to book online in the first place, rather than jump through hoops with various humans? Annoyingly, no afternoon appointments available. Managed to get one for next Monday morning.
After a couple of hours of writing, I rose at a decent hour, swapped jim jams for clothes and cleared all the chores. As it was still early enough, went out into the garden to do a spot of lumberjilling. Ended up turning the main stem of an ash tree I'd started on a while back into ready-to-use firewood - first cut into slices, and then cut the slices in half so that the chunks are then splitable.

That done, it was back into the garden to haul in the firewood I cut up before luncheon. The wood bins in the house were also topped up.

Saturday morning Wifey & I stripped the bed for laundry & she built a pillow cave to Rosie cat. Wifey went out for the day & I putzed around the house, including watching a 2hr movie in the bedroom. Rosie didn't emerge for 5 hrs!

our gym has a seemingly endless cycle of new faces. the regulars have routines & I come & go on a daily basis. the newbies tend to sit on machines w/ their phones, watching stuff, texting ppl or even talking to ppl. so annoying because they are not using the machine, they're just occupying it. I never say anything. wutz the point? there will be another doing the same later, or tomorrow. I just continue on w/ my routine & circle back to check if they have moved on, so I can complete my circuit. I've had convos & witnessed convos about the topic, at gyms, they rarely end well
