:hello: From Leeds, the city of sirens - Police and Ambulance mostly. It's been remarkably sunny and dry forYorkshire .

A very good day has been had so far.

1 - I managed to board the first train avoiding a dullard I used to put up with at work with who retired a year ago, then shared a table with someone else more interesting who I've not seen in many years (also a fellow retiree) on the second train.
2 - Before picking up the 'click & collect' order at Decathlon, I had a look round the hiking section and found the last pair of waterproof boots in my size reduced to £30.
3 - The account credit refund from the energy company has already been returned to my bank account.

Lunch and drinks have been had, a shower and a good snooze will follow once I've finished the coffee, then it's off to The Brudenell for an evening of loud music and more good beers.

It's been a cool, grey and occasionally rainy day here chez Casa Reynard. Not much of a breeze so felt warmer than yesterday.

Sleep again was subpar in terms of quantity. The lack of it has been accumulating, and I've felt rather meh today. A :cuppa: was taken upstairs and I did a couple of hours of writing. Then jim jams swapped for fleece hoodie and joggers, and I cleared all the chores. Today's additional bits were putting away the non-fridgeable shopping after I'd just dumped it in the dining room last night, finding some almost non-existent shelf space for the books I picked up, and ironing my white coat.

Had a lovely luncheon of a wholegrain roll with ham & mustard, a banana yoghurt and my little pot of tea.

I've had a quiet afternoon. Yes, I topped up all the wood bins and coal bucket in the house to the max so that I don't have to futz about tomorrow, and sorted out all my stewarding gubbins, but then I had a lovely girly pamper session.

A quiet evening in front of the TV is planned. I don't need to cook - supper will be from the fridge via the poppity ping.

I have 2 teapots but for reasons I can no longer remember I use the larger one yet only half fill it. Maybe it was something to do with how happily it pours out my 3 mugs of tea.

Is it wrong to admit that I have a collection of cat-themed teapots? And cat-themed mugs.

Though the little one that I pulled out of the cupboard is a plain little white bone china one.

2nd Sainsbury's shop in two days. Forgot to pick up any cheese yesterday but it turned out worthwhile as their was now 20% off clothing. New pair of jeans and three boxers for nightwear which then also facilitated use of a £3 voucher I had. Equated to a 29% reduction.

I have a collection of teapots, including a "Kit Kat" (chocolate) teapot, a "Flying Scotsman" and a cat shaped teapot. I also have a variety of mugs on the theme of railways. And watches with a railway theme.

Love it!

Which reminds, I have a small collection of football club mugs somewhere that I built up when I was in my early teens. A local shop used to sell them for pocket money prices, so every few weeks or so, I'd buy a different one.
