No. I wasn't sure what it was. It has been there a long time as it has barnacles growing all over it. It is open like it has been cut open to show the internal workings. There are restricted military areas nearby so it probably came from one of thode years ago. Pembrey is one side of the river and several miles up the other side is Pendine Sands another restricted area.
It might be worth rescuing as an educational exhibit perhaps?

A photograph would maybe help identify it. 👍

Despite my good intentions, a Wetherspoons breakfast was had with a couple more coffees. Now on the train home having unusually departed from platform 9 instead of 8.
...Could be even more expensive due to a flyer for another recently announced gig. Need to check hotel availability and cost when I get home.
And it could be even more expensive - walking through Millennium Square to kill a bit of time, the electronic sign was advertising the Sounds of the City events and one of the days has a very tempting double header.

We're doggy-sitting today with a sleepover tonight..
Should be fun with Bonnie and Teddy the grandkids Bonkers Cockerpoo looning around the bungalow and garden 😂

don't lose it!

Wifey once offered to watch a neighbor's dog & walk it while they were away for a day, not even an overnight. & she lost it! got off the leash. I chased that dog for miles including across a busy street & thru an apple orchard. don't worry, the dog was fine, had a wonderful time! & when it was ready, it let me approach & grab it's collar. but it was very proud of itself. wish I had a camera for the picture of it in the middle of the orchard w/ a big grin on it's face

Ordered a replacement pair of work boots: I have a preferred design, so I tend to buy my own instead of ordering from the preferred supplier at work.
They cost about 85€: which isn't cheap, but I reckon I wear them for about eighteen months or 2500 working hours before they start to break down, which is probably longer than most people wear shoes before replacing them.
