Morning.
We had a lie in!
A bit cloudy this morning. Beige sky with tinges of blue grey, looks a bit snowy.
I managed to get out for a ride yesterday. I just grabbed the nearest bike I could get to in my garage which happened to be my Coppi. I had left it a bit late for a ride by which time cloud had moved in. On my return journey I was treated to a shower of hail. Luckily it was a brief light shower.

A bit of a wet start here.

Breakfast was supposed to be at 8, but the B&B lady seems to be MIA. I'm hungry!

I suppose I might as well pack up while I wait.

The clock in my car will be on the wrong time again. For some reason the button to change it doesn't seem to play ball and I really can't be bothered taking the dashboard apart to find out why.

Just over eighty miles cycled today, my longest ride of the year so far and I think that is the limit of my current fitness levels. It's flat around here, but the headwinds have been horrible at times.

I had fish and chips and will be having a relaxing evening. Back home tomorrow. It was nice to forget about work for a few days. Pity it's back to work on Monday.

80 miles in a car is quite a distance yet doing it on a bike and having to pedal is even more so. I only did 11 yesterday and that was assisted by a tail wind. I wondered why I was going so well. I found the headwind on the way back but I was lucky to be studied for most of the return journey by hedgerows.

A photograph would maybe help identify it. 👍

Now you are asking for something beyond my capabilities at the moment. I will have to ask SWMBO.

Peeps don't seem to realise that I seem to learn things by the ROTE method. It's all very well her showing me how to do things, pointing here and there but I seem to get lost. Now which one was it?

Back to the task in hand. I will have to transfer my photos from my phone to here. Hopefully without trying to remember my password.

Good morning from chilly Suffolk where the sun is trying its best to shine through the thin cloud layer. Coffee has been had after a bad night's sleep (my feet were freezing for some reason) and it took a lot of persuasion to leave the warmth of the duvet to go down to the kitchen to put the kettle on to make the coffee.

No idea what I'm going to do today - possibly a quick trip to see mum, bike ride or walk depending on what the weather does.

Rain has arrived.
No outdoor double sided tape to be found so instead of a Toolstation visit ordered what is apparently the best - 3M VHb 5952 tape in 12mm width which should be perfect without any trimming or doubling up.

Lidl shopped including a free bag of spuds. Some cycling items in but nothing tempting. Was hoping there would be some bottled cycling oil but all the lubed/cleaners were either aerosol or trigger gun.
Also a new house plant. An existing has outgrown its location and needs a lower location so gave that a neighbour for there conservatory.
