if I'm starting to like afternoon naps, does that mean I'm getting old?
Naah. It's a man thing.
Or you're a cat in disguise.

And what's wrong with Yorkshire in March!

.It's cold. And Betazoid weddings are carried out in the buff.![]()
.Not certain what buff would be big enough for that. As for March, it's why I put March in Cambridgshire and not Cambridgeshire in March. It's cold. And Betazoid weddings are carried out in the buff.![]()
March in Cambridgeshire is a place LOL
No suit required...Someone I used to work with had one. I politely declined the invite.

Having received no post for a few days amongst the 13 () letters arriving today there's a winners cheque for the massive sum of £20.

Naps are what afternoons were designed for. I'm just about to make a hot chocolate in one of my favourite mugs...if I'm starting to like afternoon naps, does that mean I'm getting old?
A very blustery day here in this corner of Suffolk, along with a few short but very sharp showers. Made the ride out for sausages & bacon 'interesting' with 15-20mph headwinds plus stronger gusts for virtually the whole way, but worth it for the quality. Almost nothing else has been done for the rest of the day except for Wednesday's route planning and battling with the train timetables which insisted that a certain journey didn't exist unless I purchased an off peak day return when all I wanted was a single.
When I got home this afternoon the postie had delivered a letter from the Government pensions people confirming my state pension age and letting me know that I didn't have to do anything as they would contact me again 4 months before the date with details of how to claim.
All very well, but I don't reach state pension age for nearly six years!
