And what's wrong with Yorkshire in March!
Can't be as bad as March in Cambridgeshire. Yer just biased...

It's cold. And Betazoid weddings are carried out in the buff. :biggrin:

March in Cambridgeshire is a place LOL

Would that still fit?

I believe they are one-size-fits-all :laugh:

A very blustery day here in this corner of Suffolk, along with a few short but very sharp showers. Made the ride out for sausages & bacon 'interesting' with 15-20mph headwinds plus stronger gusts for virtually the whole way, but worth it for the quality. Almost nothing else has been done for the rest of the day except for Wednesday's route planning and battling with the train timetables which insisted that a certain journey didn't exist unless I purchased an off peak day return when all I wanted was a single.

Having received no post for a few days amongst the 13 ( :blink: ) letters arriving today there's a winners cheque for the massive sum of £20.
<snip>

When I got home this afternoon the postie had delivered a letter from the Government pensions people confirming my state pension age and letting me know that I didn't have to do anything as they would contact me again 4 months before the date with details of how to claim.
All very well, but I don't reach state pension age for nearly six years!

if I'm starting to like afternoon naps, does that mean I'm getting old?
Naps are what afternoons were designed for. I'm just about to make a hot chocolate in one of my favourite mugs...

This gives you the chance to work out if you could add some "Additional Voluntary Contributions" to your National Insurance record. I expect it applies more often to women rather than men.

However, I think (but I am no expert) you cannot pay AVCs less than three or four years before you take your State Pension.

To find your current state pension forecast, I think there is a dedicated website.
