Proving sceptics wrong is not part of the plan which is one big space race to beat China. The main focus is on the poles of moon and to control the water. which are miles away from past missions. So they are not likely to go wonder off to find evidence of them. Much of the talk is on having a base to supply and support the push to Mars. What come's next is the worry for me as the real prize is mining the earth metal deep in the moon. The whole ethics of what is coming is a big mine field. As with anything once money flys round it will be all in the hands of the few.
I realise that. But you can bet on a future mission when one is photoed the sceptics will claim it was dropped their by this one.

Three things to tell you.First had a great morning on next doors spare bit of land.Just got one area 4' x 4' to weed.I got tired early. But i did more than i planned.Secondly had no dinner at lunchtime we are having a Chinese takeaway tonight instead.:hyper::boxing::bravo:finally is it ok for big old men to wear ladies watches, because looking at the Sekonda site,i have bought a ladies Taylors Sekonda watch. It was only when i looked at the specs,it's only 34mm wide and mens are 41,and the bracelet is narrower. What a plank what a numpty. It's actually a very nice watch just a bit smaller than my chunky old Accurist.

That's the grass and front border looking better. Not good, just better.

Still very cloudy and breezy - went along the seafront on the way to mum's this morning and plenty of people about all wrapped up against the bracing wind up the coastline. Got confused by a large outdoor church service in the town centre until I remembered it was Good Friday!

All appears to be going ahead with my stepfather's hip op next Thursday, so I'll need to keep the whole of the following weekend free for transport for him home or mum visiting.

Recently learned that if you like panini, if you want one, then correctly you should ask for a panino. If you want two or more, then it's panini.
Signage & labelling in the UK appears to invariably have it wrong, even on the labels of the single ones for sale.
Problem is if you went into a shop and asked for a panino, you'd probably get a 'lights on, nobody home ' look, followed by 'Oh do you mean a panini - ?'

Popped to a couple of local pubs last night and had food at the second. Whilst waiting for food, a young couple came in and after a while both started vaping inside the pub next to us. My daughter was a bit surprised, but me being me, I went over and politely asked them to stop as we weren't smokers. They apologised and left soon after. My days of biting my tongue have long gone. Don't inflict your smoking on others when it's illegal inside a pub.

Unexpected Lidl visit. I had discovered the folding indoor bike like thingy actually has standard size pedal threads. Getting fed up of the toestraps splitting or new ones coming off mid pedal decided spd pedals would be better. Halfords web site has them at £26.99 but as usual the shelf price was £37.
Went almost next door to Lidl and used their free wifi to place an order and at the same time realised what I had forgot this morning were chicken breasts.
Back then to Halfords in the hope if shirt cutting the click and collect process but the only cycle part assistant was busy with another customer. After a wait decided the chicken really needed to be got hone.
According to Halfords order checker they are locaring the pedals, not that difficult on the rear wall with all the other bits . And as I typed that last comment a message popped up saying they are ready to collect.

Even collecting the pedals wasn't straightforward as the front door key on my car keys went and bent itself. Attempted to straighten it in a vice but to no avail.
Thankfully Timpsons in Asda were still open so a copy of the front door key used when walking made. Also got a coloured top for it free so no more fumbling at night trying to work out which is the front door key and which is the rear door one.
