It's been a warm and occasionally sunny day here chez Casa Reynard.
Slept OK, but two and a half hours short again. A

was taken upstairs after feeding the cat, and I did a good dollop of writing - a mix of editing and producing new material. At a more decent hour, threw on jeans and a fleece and did the chores.
Chores complete, I took the strimmer out and did an hour's grass cutting. Which mainly involved weaving in and out of various drifts of forget-me-nots. The garden around the house is beginning to lot a lot more tidy.
Had a lovely luncheon of avocado on toast, yoghurt with blueberries, some rice cakes with cheese and a pot of tea.
Spent the bulk of the afternoon doing a mix of writing and admin while sat on the bed in the company of Madam Boo. Her joining me on the bed is a new thing, and it's what I missed most after losing Lexi.
Then just to enjoy the bit of sun we got, I went back out into the garden with a crate and the loppers and cut up a load of wood that's one size up for kindling. That's stuff that's between half an inch and an inch in diameter. I don't use much of it, but I was running low. Easy to see when you store firewood according to size.
Supper was spaghetti with spinach, ricotta and homemade walnut & basil pesto. Not my intended supper, but the spinach was in danger of developing language skills and so needed using.
A quiet evening is planned.
