Under low supervision today. The senior warder is absent on a "hen" day.
Maybe they are all going to a tatoo parlour for a bonding experience? Does the tattooist charge extra for saggy, wrinkled old bodies?

I am my own master, I'm told. May treat myself to a pub lunch somewhere.

The welding set beckons.
But I need a project.
Then I'm thinking about a bike trailer for larger shopping trips around the town?
Or maybe to carry kit on overnight trips.
 
I was reading an article in a magazine, Ride Fit. One of the bits was about healthy eating. It suggested that you drink a glass of water before a meal and then drink a pint of cold water afterwards. I'm sorry but I wouldn't be going anywhere afterwards apart from the loo!

My thoughts are. Eat plenty of baked beans before a ride. The effect of the added thrust should increase your top speed by at least 1 mph. It's the every action has an equal and opposite effect.
2. Breathing! Inhale with your head pointing forwards and exhale with your head pointing rear wards, a bit like a swimmer doing the crawl. This should also add to your speed. It might make you dizzy but just think of the gains! :whistle:

Good morning from a nicely warm and hazily sunny Suffolk. Looks like we had a bit of rain overnight judging by the puddle on the neighbour's shed.

Coffee has been had with the first two custard cream biscuits from a freshly opened pack. Once I've had a shower there's a load of cycle clothing for the washing machine to deal with and then I plan on having a very lazy day to give my legs a rest.
