I went for my ride this morning. There were a few other cyclists about. I met one cyclist who had stopped and was fitting a new inner tube. I stopped to inconvenience him. It turned out that the new inner tube that he had just fitted was faulty and wouldn't stay inflated. It turned out that he was only half a mile away from home so not too far to walk.

A great visit to Manchester, the pub was superb,The Wharf Castlefields i think, right next to the canal, but we were inside,a great get together daughter in law to be,her mum and dad were up for a visit.Fun all round. Now my son is taking me out for a bike ride in June, but he has no cycling jersey or jacket so i am giving him a gift,my blue Gerolstiener tops, its the best ever team jersey in my umble opinion.

Drizzle has started and it's gone dark early.

The afternoon was spent mostly in the armchair or sofa reading while football type things were happening in the background on the radio. There was a 45 minute break while I had a most pleasant walk in the mid afternoon sunshine & warmth and the afternoon ended with an unexpected 15 minute snooze.

As for the rest of the evening the F1 Sprint race has just been watched, there's plenty of other motorsport options being streamed this evening, other stuff has been recorded and I have beer in the fridge.

Weeded the garden bank in preparation for building myself a workshop this afternoon, I went to look a shed prices and can buy the wood much cheaper and build it myself. Cleaned the drive chain on the bike. It rained heavily for 20 minutes or so earlier.

I have just downloaded the videos I took this morning with my smart glasses on my ride. They came out quite well. It is surprising how fast a glance back is when viewed in the video, it looks so fast like it was speeded up.
