It's been a warm and occasionally sunny day here chez Casa Reynard, with the rain only coming in at supper time.

Sleep was middling, mainly because I got distracted looking at cat trees on Amazon and went to bed late. Went downstairs, fed the cat, and then took a :cuppa: back upstairs and did some writing.

Did the chores at a more appropriate hour, and then did an hour's gardening. More admin crap turned up in the post - oh deep joy. My new (to me) Rado watch turned up too, as did half a kilo of chocolate gifted to me by a friend.

A lovely luncheon of avocado on toast, an orange, a homemade flapjack and a :cuppa:

Had a quiet afternoon watching the snooker etc.

Supper was eggs, home made oven chips, baked beans and a tomato salad.

Now indulging in more snooker. The standard of both semi-finals has been stellar.

I did go to Tesco yesterday to rectify the deficit of bread & milk. Picked up sausages, green beans, tamarind paste and a couple of baguettes on yellow sticker.

I took my laptop down to rural Herefordshire for five nights last week. When I first started it, the clock had been reset to Eastern Standard Time, five hours behind BST. I reset it to the correct time but every time I shut the machine down, it would revert to EST again. I got bored with correcting it.

Now back in London, the laptop has decided that it likes BST again. It's blooming odd.
