Dinner disturbed by a wood pigeon crashing into the glass of the back door.
Then an Aldi trek chiefly for washing up liquid and Tesco for more cheap Freefrom items. Encountered one friendly cat outbound and another not so sure on the return that it looked like it might try to hide flat on the ground in the middle of a road junction Then annoyed a van driver at a pedestrian crossing. Thinks do I need to press the button? Car coming from the right, van coming from the left then a gap in traffic. So walked out behind the car expecting the van to go pass and it stopped with a mouthful coming from it's driver

Been down the polling station quick sharp. Daughter had been checking 'stats' and it's looking like a close one to keep the 'baddies' out, so a bit of strategic voting (and my wife knows the candidate).

The evening's hot chocolate has just been finished. Getting up and making it was the first thing I've done since finishing the washing up after tea.

I think it's time to sample the home brew.
