The lunatics are taking over the asylum

Looks like the turkeys have voted for Christmas.

Another quiet evening which has been mostly spent matching the tour dates for a couple of bands against location, travel options and costs for hotels. I think I've got something worked out for both and all I've got to do now is wait until next Friday when both lots of tickets go on sale before booking the rooms.

Slightly annoyed that the 'Calc' light came on the Tassimo machine this evening so I need to get some descaling tablets. I don't use it that much and use filtered water so this is the first time it's happened since I purchased it nearly a year ago which isn't too bad.

The evening's hot chocolate has been had, now for a beer.

In other news early morning trip to town has been had and the washing is now out on the line. Need to go back to town later as Mrs 73 needs something picking up.

I think they said they will work on turning things around. They must be getting dizzy by now!

I just received an answer to a question I asked of a property on booking.com

I asked it in January! We’ve been for the holiday now (elsewhere)

We will be going to see a nearby canal restoration project and go for a bit of a sail down it. It is being organised by our town museum.

I descaled our Melitta machine yesterday. The descale tablets are just Citric Acid. I buy a " Food Grade " 1kg bag for about £7 which lasts an age.

Now at my dad’s. He’s doing well.

Travelled by train. It’s only about an hour to Winchester, then short bus ride.

Spent the evening with dad trying find a suitable replacement washing machine as his has packed up. He needs a top loader which doesn’t seem to give him many options.

Had a look at the local election result for Bromley. Conservatives seem to have lost some seats to reform but still have a majority.
