switch off. these should not be glowing. they only go out when I unplug them from the switched outlet. it's not the outlet, cuz we didn't have the problem the day before the electricians showed up, & out next door neighbor has the same issue now, even tho she can't tell with her regular lamp that she has plugged in

went to our neighbor next door. same exact new issue, but only visible with my LED string lights. she also said that this morning the lamp post next the parking lot stairs, the one that the wiring work was done for, was glowing dimly, even tho it was turned off

will be testing at least 1 more neighbor in our building ...

A bit of sloppy wiring. But the products are crap too. They just shouldn't do that.
It's when I sent for the people with pocket protectors that lived out in the skunk works.

Despite there not being as much rain as expected, today was a mostly indoors day with the brief trip into town being the exception. At least the domestics are done for another week.

Yet again I seem to have distracted myself spending way too long comparing travel costs, hotel costs and timings with other events for the mid/late November band tickets, but I think I'll look to get Southampton tickets when they go on sale on Friday as I've not been there before.

Hot chocolate shortly.

Now in Berneray, ready for the ferry in the morning. Today was tough due to the wind, but I enjoyed it.

My original plan had been to take two days to do what I did today, but couldn't make accommodation work. I would have had more time to explore, but I didn't find today as interesting as yesterday anyway.

Another day of randomly meeting people I met on the ferry on Monday. I also got overtaken twice by the Swiss guy in the Ferrari. He's not making much more progress than I am...

It's been a day of hoolies, sunshine, showers and hail the size of peas here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept well enough, though short changed again. Went downstairs, fed the cat, made a :cuppa: and took it upstairs to do some writing and watch a bit of the state opening of parliament on the laptop.

Met up with my friend Linda for our weekly dog walk, where we just about managed to dodge the showers.

A lovely luncheon of avocado on toast, a banana yoghurt and a pot of tea.

And then the power went out and didn't come back on till nearly 11pm - spoke to the engineers and they were tracing two low voltage faults, one on either side of the transformer. But I went into town this afternoon, sent a parcel, and bought some tomato plants and some cat litter.

Supper ended up being a bun, three packets of crisps and a glass of ribena.

Apologies for my absence yesterday, but I was busy altering a costume for a friend who does some acting, and that was what was in the parcel. I had to get my skates on with it, as he needs it before Monday.

Been catching up on the sumo since the power came back on.
