Seems I missed out in the car booking lottery, well came second.
So I will cycle to and between my morning meetings and feel lucky if I'm still dry at lunchtime.
Arriving in full waterproofs somehow changes the impact of one's presence, I find.

Pen Y Pass YHA.. Not even enough signal to send a text! Great fun watching people wandering around pointing their £1,000+ iPhones at the sky hoping against hope for a single bar of internet!

Good morning from a recently deluged Suffolk. One good thing is that it'll give the solar panels a good wash. Also very cold for mid May - single digit temperatures round this way at the moment. Perhaps I should take some of the blame as i went down a few tog on the duvet on a couple of bedding changes ago.

Coffee has been had and I'm trying to decide what to do for the rest of the day. It's a bit late to go out on the round Suffolk/Norfolk/Cambridgeshire rail rover ticket so I may just head out for lunch/drinks instead.

I am very disappointed with myself.

This afternoon, in the traditional type of ironmongers, I wanted to purchase some new washers for the tap of the water butt. How on earth did I miss the opportunity to say, "I would like some 'ose please?"

The gentleman behind the counter reminded me about 0s and asked why. He then sold me two O rings.
