Mowed front lawn Saturday afternoon.

Eurovision on Saturday evening. I thought UK entry got the panning it deserved.

I correctly identified Bangaranga as a contender for top place.

Sunday - mowed back lawn, long overdue. Ironed some sheets.

Watched countryfile on TV.

I'm wondering why Calmac employees wear high vis while sitting behind the ticket desk. What on earth is going to happen them in there.

I went to IKEA for the first time on saturday. I was impressed with the range of stuff they had, the ease of shopping (i.e. everything was in stock to take away if it fits in your car), and the one-way system was very well organised. Downside is, if you're just popping in for a loo brush then it would take you 2 hours. I also tried the famous meatballs and mash in the cafe - very nice, and it even came with jam (more like cranberry sauce) which was a bonus; I do love my condiments

Now trying to call the dentist: I tried to make an online booking, but it became a comedy of errors, unusually not because of me getting numbers mixed up. So much for German efficiency.

Yet again there's a car alarm gone off on the vehicle deck.

Surely car alarms are amongst the most pointless inventions of all time as all they do is annoy people and nobody would pay any attention even if your car was being stolen.

Found beer in the garage. Want hard to find.

Fresh bread in the bread maker.
Cold Beef in the fridge.
Found a recipe for my available ingredients.
Subtle addition of a whisper of wasabi.

Second beer opened, it seems to be evaporating.

Breaking a house rule, not to drink at home on my own before 1800 local time
