Nope just trimmed the bright side
Was that the only side you looked on?

We really need an Aldi in Felixstowe so I don't have to repeat today's 20 mile bike ride just to get a pack of their own brand version of Shreddies. Nothing else, just the box of cereal.

And earlier in the day I had to double back on myself once I'd picked up the birthday card as I'd completely forgotten to stop at Lidl on the way which was the main reason I'd gone out.

That's two more potential away days added to my end of the month treat list.
Make that four thanks to two new tours being announced this morning. Friday could be a busy day on ticket sales websites while I'm having breakfast before the train home.

Not a lot else done and it's almost time for the evening's hot chocolate.

It's been a warm but blustery day here chez Casa Reynard.

Not the best night's sleep, and rather short changed. Downstairs, fed the cat, made tea and took it upstairs to do some writing. Did some new stuff, edited what I wrote yesterday and cross-checked with my hardcopy manuscript for continuity.

Down at a more decent hour to do the chores. Green bin put out for collection tomorrow morning.

Wasn't in the mood to do any gardening, so spent the morning sorting books. Put aside a load of stuff for a friend's two daughters as they can use some of my surplus cookery and history of art books, and put together another stack to take to the book exchange.

A lovely luncheon of a cheese & salad sandwich, an orange, a packet of crisps and a pot of tea.

Back to the clearing up afterwards. That resulted in another load of stuff to take to the clothes bank. That done, a trip to the village was undertaken in order to empty the car of books and clothes.

Chinese tonight - crispy fried tofu with home made sweet & sour sauce, rice and steamed veggies (green beans, mange tout, bamboo shoots). :hungry:

A quiet evening catching up on the sumo is on the agenda.
