Evening.
Georgie has been a bu99er! I put his breakfast down this morning at 6.45. The little bu99er didn't turn up .I walked up the garden whistling expecting him to come and brush against my legs. At 12 o clock I was starting to get a bit worried. 8 looked in my garage. At 5 o clock In wandered up to the top of our garden whistling, still nothing. I looked in our loft in case he had somehow crept up behind me. I went out and got fish and chips. Still no Georgie. He has just strolled in as if nothing was up!

It's been a hot and sunny day here chez Casa Reynard, albeit with quite a stiff breeze.

Did not have a good night. Kept waking up, and felt rather meh. Downstairs, cat fed, tea made, and then upstairs to do the morning's writing session. Boo joined me, and stretched out all the way along my leg from hip to ankle.

Down at a better time to do the chores. Decided not to do any gardening, as it was too hot. But I potted on a bunch of stuff that needed potting on, and watered all the planters.

Decided to put a hold on luncheon and scoot into town for more compost, petrol for the car, and a few other bits before school chucking out time and before things got too busy at the petrol station. Compost & fuel acquired, plus a final tomato plant - a yellow Tumbling Tom. Also picked up anchovies, green beans, kiwi fruit and lettuce on sticker. The lettuce is one of those three variety "living plant" jobbies with the roots, so will pop those in a planter tomorrow morning. They're currently sat in a jug of water.

A late luncheon of a coronation chicken sandwich, a tangerine, a couple of biskits and a :cuppa:

Had a lovely quiet afternoon sitting in the shade with the laptop and listening to various sports stuff on the radio.

Now watching "Deadliest Catch"

Supper is prepped and will throw it together when the above finishes.
