I am aware that for yesterday's morning outdoors I overlooked sun cream on my ears.
They are sore and quite a bright pink.

Be more conscientious with the Factor 50 today! Hat with a brim too.

Morning.
Sunny with a hazy sky.
I was having a dream just before I woke up. We were taking a frog ,a gerbil and some other animal to a rescue centre. Trouble was that they kept on escaping! The frog and gerbil had made friend and would cuddle up together. Aren't dreams weird?

I'm sure Freud would have something to say about your repressed issues...

Good morning from a nicely warm Suffolk where the sun is starting to make a breakthrough after a cloudy/hazy beginning to the day. If the weather for the rest of the weekend is as forecast I suspect Felixstowe beach will be populated by people the colour of lobsters.

Coffee has been had to the background sounds of the radio, vociferous starlings and, since around 09:30, the first half of a football match on the local playing field. The rest of the morning will involve a visit to mum's as it's stepfather's birthday on Sunday and then food shopping for tomorrow's visit to Snetterton for the annual visit of the BTCC.

I also have a click & collect order ready at John Lewis which I should be able to do on the ebike this afternoon - one duvet in each pannier and a pillow on the rack!

16 in the shade currently and largely overcast. 7 mile ebiked visit to Lidl primarily for a 99p bag of oranges and green hand wash. Bathroom basin currently has a blue hand wash by it - thats a no no, blue ones are for the kitchen. No logic actually in that but thats how its always been.
Had a near tumble on the return - shared crossing of the A59 on the Stray had three pedestrians and two dogs already waiting at it and I stopped between them, right foot decending onto textured paving which my shoe took some time to grip onto.

My sister has sent me a picture from her hotel in Skiathos. I've messaged her back thanking her for taking the cloud cover on holiday with her

A very productive morning...
Girls at their mums last night so some free time to do what I want / need to.
Couple pints down the pub last night and a (nit very nice) kebab, then relax for the rest of the evening.
Today...up at 6.30 then out on the bike with camera and binos down to the riverbank..not much seen today but really nice at that time, walked maybe a mile along the river.
Home...we have a bulky waste collection three times a year at the bottom on the street...and its very very well used.
Double divan bed, split in two plus the mattress, three trips with a trolley, job done, gone.
Then, dogs bedding smells a bit (so does he), so pressure washer out, thats now drip drying in the sun.
Also noticed downstairs loo carpet has had something spilled on it and an amateurish attempt to clean it has been made...know anything about this Imogen ? eh, eh ?...so thats been lifted, pressure washed and is also drip drying.
Cuppa now being enjoyed in the sun
A fairly physical day for a near 68 yo

Yesterday I was thinking that I hadn't seen any swifts this year, and I wondered whether the dry, chilly weather might have reduced the insect population so much that they wouldn't appear. But I've Just heard some. I didn't see them because I was under tree cover at the time. I better get looking out because they don't stay for long before moving onto somewhere with better nesting potential.

Titan yer tummy

No meatings b4 dinner!
Helped my Dad to do a load of washing in his new machine - it works.

Hung washing on line in glorious sunshine to dry - its now dry.

Freshly laundered bedding now back on his bed.

Visit to local supermarket to purchase gifts for neighbours who installed the the washing machine - Blue Sapphire Gin and flowers

Cooked bangers and chips with baked beans for lunch - oh the simple pleasures.

Dad is having his afternoon nap and i'm about to have mine - 💤

Funnily enough, ive seen them but this afternoon, im sat listening to them squeal as the dart around in a small.group. Not many , but always love that sound, like they're really really excited.
I've noticed, early evening they often do that, dart and scream around, usually in little groups
