What a lovely morning! Warm but comfortable, slightly hazy sunshine and still. Touching the 30s later this afternoon so it will need a lot of curtain closing when the sun hits the windows (I have big windows) but for now it's grand.

3 miles walked to Boughton village and back with the dog then 6 miles on the bike to the farm shop before it gets too hot 🫠

We saw our first Dragonfly this year in our garden, it looked like a Hawker.

It's been another busy warm day so time to sit down and relax.

Afternoon cuppa went down well earlier.

Ran out of patio cleaner just as it getting a touch too wam for me. A lazy afternoon until I realised it was Sunday and the house needed dusting abd vacuuming. Advantage of a north facing house its cool largely in hot weather.

I have tested the arthritic hips by doing a short 5 mile bike ride.
A few twinges but it’s easier than walking.
