Morning.
Sunny here and warming up.
There is a folk festival going on in the town over the past few days. I saw a bit of it yesterday when I was in Weatherspoons. There was a meeting of peeps who worked in the same garage years ago. It was good to see them again. It was the garage I started my apprenticeship in and stayed there for 8 years.
Good morning from sweltering Suffolk. Coffee has been had and the recycling bin has been emptied, but I've not bothered retrieving it yet.
The bedding needs to be changed and once that's been done I'm off out for a couple of hours gentle pootling while the washing machine does its thing. Some more suncream will need to be ordered this evening as I noticed the bottle was getting fairly low when I used it yesterday.
24 currently so an increase of 4 degrees during a 3.4 mile Aldi, Tesco and Co-op trek. Salad leaves and sun tan lotion from the former, 99p Royal Galas from Tesco and £1.30 eggs from the Co-op.
Now make that 25.
Slight delay to proceedings - looked into the mirror while brushing my teeth and realised how long my hair had got without noticing. Clippers out and grade 6 cut completed.
Ten miles on the bike completed. Only a slight twinge from my left hip. Glorious sunny day here in Shropshire.
I picked up a vegetarian cookery book from the old bus stop book exchange.
I’m now drinking cold diet cola.
