It's been a warm and mostly sunny day here chez Casa Reynard.

Did not sleep well, with an episode of the "too hot, too cold" going on. So I woke up with my get-up-and-go having truly gotten up and buggered off. Downstairs, fed the cat, made a :cuppa: and took it back upstairs to do some writing.

Only did the very basic of chores, and otherwise have had a a very quiet day.

That said, I felt the need for some outside time, so went for a nice bicycular bimble in the company of Rocky the Hardtail - bike choice dictated by who was closest to the door. An hour of pootling around Pymoor and Oxlode was quite uplifting.

Listened to the football. I think Mikel had the tactics down pat, and the lads did really well. And we were rather unlucky with the two penalties - the one that was given, and the one that was not. If the cookie had crumbled differently, we wouldn't have been taken to a shootout. Third time lucky, perhaps? The lads have NOTHING to be ashamed of, especially against a club bankrolled by a state as opposed to private individuals.

Cooked a lovely supper of special fried rice - which went down a treat.

Now just having a quiet evening watching Repair Shop and bangers & Cash.

Recently had an e-mail from E-on who say I owe them £110.17 for electricity.
Small detail that we've never had an account with E-on and all our utility bills are in the GLWs name anyway.
I was executor for my late sister, but have revoked the responsiblity to someone else.
The GLW says it's probably a scam, so just ignore it and DON'T respond to the e-mail, so that's what I'm doing.

I keep getting threatening text messages intended for a fella in Aberdeen about two unpaid debts - one I'm not sure what for, and the other for a phone contract with 3. The messages get deleted.

Middle of two weeks of non cycling.

Headed west to the Land of my Father's. A few days with bro whilst we did the round of doctors, specialists and clinics.
Also a chance for him to rehearse his litany of moans.

Now in Hampshire with long standing chums. Bike still locked on the back of the can.

Tomorrow off for celebration lunch with 5 friends from over 50 years ago. Sort of alumni of a very exclusive cohort. There will be others there who may never know the connection.

Then some seaside and maybe a bit of cycling.
Prelude to a mystery sail and lads birthday event. Not sure what to expect. Hope the heat moderates for the sailing.

More will folliw

Report them to your network.
You might not be the only one, but you might be the only one willing to report them.

Whilst driving through town this Saturday just gone I heard a loud noise to the right of me.
I quickly looked over to see someone in a car had tried to drive into a car park with a height restriction barrier in the entrance and forgot about the 3 bikes on the roof rack.
I hope they weren't expensive,as the didn't look very good lying on the floor behind the car
