Have resolved the rear brakes.
On this ebike I have to look for longer lasting brake pads. The last lot were about 1500km ago. Fitted by the incompetents at the LBS.
Replaced the rear pads with what I had in the box and bled the system. I now have rear brakes.

Front brake was closed with the wrong screw and a big washer. The result was that it was never going to seal again. Scoured the internet to find suitable Tektro product.
So, Hercules is still on the bike stand waiting for one small screw.

Anyone ever have to sit through that training film "For the want of a nail" Well things are like that around here.

Checked offf my Galaxy in preparation for a trip to Wymondham's Friday market the morn.
Always a good exercise as the market has stalls with local bread & cakes, fruit & veg, fish and a very good 'discount' stall that sell many edible goodies - !
Not forgetting Merv's Hot Bread Kitchen, fatal if you're on a diet - !

I've landed in Connemara after a somewhat tedious drive. I increasingly hate driving, even when the route is scenic.

It's pouring rain here now but the forecast is better for tomorrow so hopefully I won't get too wet when I'm cycling.

It's something I have been thinking about for a while.

And actually there's 2 for sale locally one looks to be as new with an 8 nexus hub whilst the other is half the price and is a bit older but fully spec and with a 5 speed sturmey archer.

So needs to do some thinking

That was a very enjoyable day.

Made good time to Norwich without putting in too much effort and was sat at a table under the shade of a tree ordering my first pint by just after 1pm. And there I stayed for the next couple of hours and a bit just drinking sensibly and watching the world go by. Not too warm, not too humid and a pleasant breeze coming up the river.
The only bad point was getting back home and stepping off the train into drizzle.

I have also had my little & large food caddies delivered. As what little food waste I have is dealt with by the local birdlife they won't get used so I wonder what other use I can put them to.
