BBQ on, my briquettes might be a bit 'old' - smokey.

Brakes and bleeding have been on the agenda recently. I have now experienced some success in that area.

Now the hard questions.
Where do you get those teeny little washers that go on the "Bleed port bolts"? They do seem to be consumables.
Knowing what they are called might help my search too.

LED tubes in domestic fly zapper machines are not even close to being as effective as the older fluorescent tubes.

Three tandem meet at Lake Vyrnwy for a ride around the lake. First day that the western side has been reopened after storm damage months back.

So the council, in their wisdom, decided this would be a good day to close the OTHER side of the lake for resurfacing 🤬

In reality, we got 90% of the way round before we were stopped, then after fifteen minutes the tar and chipping trucks went by and we managed to complete the circuit.

Gtoup photo by the dam? First my balanced phone fell off the post. Then we got photobombed by a motorbike 🙄

If not for the surface dressing crew we would have done it both ways. It’s about 12 miles round, nice quiet roads, good scenery and gentle gradients.

Remember walking up most of in the mid 80s, horrible day of a headwind and rain going from Shrewsbury to Bala

The other option is take the bikes, stay in the hotel, then if weather nice, ride round with MrsF ! It's a lovely hotel.

Bikes on the roof. Park by the dam. Visit the bird hide, go for a ride. Lunch at the cafe. Job done.
