Lunchtime stroll completed

A very pleasant 17° here, quite breezy. Had an earlier than normal start in order to rearrange contents of garage (mostly bikes) from in front of the boiler to allow its service, scheduled for between 8 and 1. Then went to the gym. On my return tackled a bit of weeding, during which the boiler service person arrived, service carried out, all good. Garage contents now moved back and lunch had. An afternoon of lazing is planned.

The morning ride to Old Warden for BCQ 166 is done. 19 miles. Lunch is eaten. Time for a walk in the park and a nap

Apparently, my bank will be issuing a new banking app which will be tailored to suit my banking needs and make my everyday banking easier.

Should I be feeling excited about this!

My WAH disturbed by my second monitor turning off. Presumably the rather warm when I ubplugged it HDMI adapter on the end of a USB C lead has blown up.
Post WAH Co-op trek to collect a click and collect eBay order from the post office (postage was cheaper) and as such the weeks app vouchers quickly used; Suffolk Royal Galas @£1.09 and a large Kenco tin @£6.30. Noticed the ice cream section was devestated bar one of the Nuli varieties.

I'm away overnight for a family get-together tomorrow and where I'm staying has a hot tub.

Somehow I managed to fall in whilst looking at it.

Further to my earlier planned 'adventure', didn't go quite according to plan as the place I took our car to ( Formula One ) didn't have the right attachments, so they couldn't do the a/c service or regas, so I've booked it in with another place.
However, one for the 'thinkers' among us.
Whilst I was supping my Gregg's coffee, I noticed that for the first time ever anywhere in my experience, that the lass had actually lined up the point on the cup lid that states 'seam line here' or words to that effect.
Bt why is it apparently so important that the customer needs to know where the cup seam is - ?
