Took my Galaxy to an excellent LBS to have as I thought, new brake blocks for the cantis.
I've never got on with maintaing cantis as I have so little experience with them and get brakes wrong, you're in trouble - !
However, indicating a serious level of honesty, all that was needed was for the cables to be suitably adjusted and job done, £10 please - !

The inbuilt trackers don't work too well in forested areas, and below ground level would make it hard for a handheld detector, as they tend to work on line of sight.

For many like watching a home match at a ground beyond the big successful clubs.
Bread maker on this morning, recipe always seems to work with wrong or different flour quantities so this one end had the end of a bag of plain flour in leiu of 1/7th of the specified bread flour.
Work visit done late morning and a good few cyclists about on including two ladies on Bromptons (or similar) who I saw twice.
On the return called into Waitrose for a couple of more yellow bananas than I got from Tesco yesterday and a 6 pack of Almond Magnums for £4. Stacks despite the empty shelves of dearer ones elsewhere.
Belated feed of the two clematis's this evening. The bottle says every 14 days from April.

We’ve had to split it into a “two centre” holiday. A week just north of Bourne and a week in Minting. Lincolnshire is a big county y’know

Dig a trench in your wood. It'd make getting a lock on the fitted tracker harder. They work better in open ground, and above ground.

Crisp packets work very well . Bigger objects and a rescue blanket or two will do a good job for most basic trackers

That was a decent kip this afternoon - 45 minutes flat out on the sofa. It's a good job there wasn't anything interesting on the radio that I missed

The cans, glass & plastics recycling bin has been moved to the front of the house to go with everything else out there - everybody on this corner's non-recycling bins and garden waste bins (where paid for) which were missed last week and the waste food caddies. Let's see what gets emptied this week.

Today has been progress by pressure day. Events sometimes do not progress because of people looking at their feet.
So I took action did things and drove things down the decision tree and closed option gates.
People will be happy, people will be pissed. But the log jam has been broken

Then I went for a nice long cycle ride on a new route. Note to self, there is no way Sittingbourne is a desirable way point on any trip. Unless it's to get the train away from there.
