Good morning from warm and sunny Suffolk. Coffee has been had.

Up and about a bit early to avoid the worst of the day's heat for today's train/bike/train outing. Train out to Diss, then bike to Norwich via a convoluted route including up past Lotus in Hethel, lunch & drinks in the shade (hopefully) then the train home. A large bottle of drink will be taken and I expect to consume most of it.

Woke up, surprised I didn't have a hang - over from last night.

Stood at the back door, getting some fresh air, just watching and listening to the rain and the birds. One crow was sat on a wire underneath the eave of the house, presumably trying to stay dry. Its clearly not a day to be sat in the garden.
I said "hello" to them as I always do to crows and other animals.

Gotta get the house tidied for Thursday, but... I really can't be bothered (story of my life).

Washing machine has been emptied with contents now pegged out on the whirly gig.

It's slightly cooler this morning. Only 28C forecast for today, which is quite a noticeable drop from yesterday's weather.

Ernie popped by to leave me a very welcome £200 this morning. I'll think of some way to recycle it into the economy.

If she wants to continue meeting criminals I can think of a really good place for doing that. And then throw away the car keys as well. 24 points on her licence for speeding while taking her dog for walkies! I can think of better ways of dog walking than speeding in a car. She even managed to blame cyclists for making her go too fast.

Morning.
It has gone grey, we had a few spots of drizzle and that's it so far. I've been gardnin! I don't like gardnin. My wife wanted 2 raised beds. I had already made one and finished the other this morning. I have now sunk them into the ground!

Nearly fell off my chair. Garage phoned. It is a duff spark plug. Car fault accurately diagnosed for once.
