I am kind of more into auto racing and bicycle racing.

A sunny start to the day with a fresh breeze, now cloudy but still dry. Enjoyed a little walk while it was still sunny, will be watching the racing this afternoon, Cro race and Worlds.

Stopped on an extended commute at a café I've been meaning to actually get to for a long time, only to find out it's closing for good tomorrow. But ... I've also found they have a second café in Headingley. @postman - near you?

can't find commuting gloves with reflective palms, or palm facing reflective stripes or patches

found some mechanics gloves in with my auto's spare tire & added some reflective tape to the palm side finger tips. the back side already had such bits, plus the writing

this tape is easily 15 years old

One of our neighbours was telling us earlier in the week that he needed to have his roof's underfelt and batons replaced and some scaffolding would be going up in preparation for the job.

Scaffolding started going up about 5pm last night and a gang of 5 workmen were on his roof before 8.45 am this morning, by 1.45 today they had removed all the tiles, batons and underfelt and replaced the batons and underfelt and refitted the tiles and his house was water tight again.

Scaffolding coming down later today so all in all they have worked hard
