Morning. It's a bit grey here this morning. Georgie has been fed and has decided to join us on the bed.
I will be going back downstairs soon so is there anything you need urgently?

Dog's have had a short 'unloading' walkies 🦮 🐶
A longer walk will happen when the grandkids have risen.

This afternoon, after my mini pump failed when needed on a ride this morning along with a club-mate's which also didn't work, I checked the collection of mini pumps I have. Another three are in the bin, including the one that's been attached to my commuter bike for the past two years. My guess is that rain and dirt have got in and degraded

Yes I’ve had several fail for apparently the same reason, certainly not because of heavy use. These days I ride mostly with a rack pack so carry one protected from the elements in that.

25 miles completed
First cuppa brewing
Blue sky and hardly a cloud in the sky
It was warm enough for shorts .

Good morning from Suffolk where it's been a bright & sunny start to the day. In line with the 'slow Sunday' theme on 6Music this morning I'm having a very slow start to the day.

Coffee has been had ahead of today's away day to York to see Gans at The Crescent this evening. It's an add on to Monday's Newcastle outing thanks to a cheap hotel room, so isn't costing me much that more than just the trip to Newcastle alone. Due to the rail line being closed between Bury St. Edmunds & Peterborough (a 3 hour coach trip for a 1 hour train journey!) I'm going via London. This gives me over an hour to get from Liverpool Street to Kings Cross which should be a pleasant 2.5 mile walk with the weather as it is today.
