bossman wanted a quick meeting but I was on a roll with a task I had been putting off & it wasn't a quick meeting. momentum squashed

I used to find that workshops ran better when the bosses were away.

Good morning from Suffolk where the rain has returned for the second time today. Damp underfoot first thing after early morning drizzle and more substantial wetness over the past hour.

Coffee has been had after a much needed good night's sleep of just under 8 hours and a couple of Weetabix had for breakfast. Once the rain has cleared I need to get a bike with mudguards out of the shed and head off for a little bit of shopping for travel snacks & drink for Wednesday's away day. Must also get some sausages out of the freezer for today's tea.

Needing a screen break from moderating other people's marking, plus posting some eBay parcels, I popped out. The sky was blue, the wind was light, yet I took the battered Chrysler Ypsilon. And had a coffee, plus cake.

Half-way back the blue sky turned a shade of onyx grey, choosing to dump a load of water where I'd have been riding back. Fortunately all that happened was the red-and-black Ypsilon got a wash.

A day of very blustery showers here, nice sunshine in between, nice apart from the wind that is. Took the bus down to the gym this morning, called in at the library on the way back.
We very much enjoyed yesterday’s lunch at the Riccarton Inn in Currie. We took the bus there and walked back. Might make a habit of it. In fact when we got back we booked for their Christmas menu.

The sunshine has finally made it to close to the east coast of Suffolk. Shopping has been done and the overnight bag has been made ready for Wednesday.

Cup-A-Soup and a crusty roll and then out to enjoy the brightness.

How high is your front door?

I've got a sack trolley, so could bring him in at an angle :okay:
