Written warning from johnny law, internet notoriety, exposed as a big liar who can't drive properly. Bit of a shame he wasn't prosecuted though.

I thought you meant he wasnt a copper and had been caught out saying he was and that that was clear from the video, I was too embarrassed to ask though in case it was obvious.

UPDATE 2: Aberdeen and Northumbria Polices have contacted the driver that was "very remorseful" and attributed his actions to a "moment of madness". The Police has issued a verbal warning to the driver regarding this incident. I am happy with the way both polices have dealt with this case that is now closed.

UPDATE 1: Northumbria Police were made aware of this incident via Twitter, and have posted here and on Twitter that this driver is NOT a Northumbria Police officer.

Yeah, he was sorry to the police so he must be. Not at all likely he was telling them what they want to hear so the problems goes away.

He's a dick that got away with it. It's on cycling forums, big deal. As far as he's concerned, he faked an apology and nothing further happened. Probably pretty chuffed with the outcome.
