I hope none of you end up in my position. My wife has early onset dementia and she wanted to go to a thing called a Memory Café this week. I ended up sitting in a room full of oldies singing along to that sort of music!
Our other outing this week was to a karaoke bar so I could sing Radiohead, Motorhead and Skynyrd numbers so you can guess how much fun I had at the Memory café.

I assume that was an early dance album? Probably some early Fat Boy Slim and a few experimental Jules remixes sampling Marlene and The Settlers.[/QUOTE]

Thought Settlers was is a indegestion tablet.

A farking genius. His version of "I Do Like to be Beside the Seaside" is, imo, the standard by which all others are judged, a bit like Jimmy Shand's "Bluebell Polka" being the yardstick for that standard.

I had a mate who, whenever there was a disco (at a Wedding/private function/etc) would shout to the DJ "Have ya no got any Jimmy Shand?"

That was, until he came across a DJ who actually did - and we made him dance solo to the Bluebell Polka, while everyone else looked on, some with cameras

You're both wrong. It's a board game.

The glaring omission there is "Shape Up and Dance with Felicity Kendal"
She'd have to have travelled back in time. Wikipedia puts that as 15 years after Sgt Pepper's.

I reckon neither would be gracing that album though...
Closer perusal shows that it's actually Hammond Brothers who seem to have no connection to the organ company, but coincidentally do play the organ.

And they are still gigging!
