When I go, which hopefully won't be for a while yet I've requested 'The day that never comes' by Metallica. Also 'Buried Alive' by Avenged Sevenfold, although , of course, I hope that I'm not!

In my dad's case it was Frank Sinatra's My Way. The conveyor belt started up, the coffin trundled and with perfect timing - "... the end is near, it's time to face the final curtain."
Out of the two, I'd go for Firestarter!
Acknowledge all the humourous ones here, which are fine if they were chosen by the deceased, but it would be maybe inappropriate to choose such a song without any input to, or connection with, the deceased relative.
I chose the following for my late mum....as far as I know she had never heard the song, but it is extremely poignant and appropriate (as I was beside her bed when she passed away). As it was not a well known song I had the lyrics printed in the order of service and had so many comments about "that lovely song", including from the undertaker who noted the track as he said he was often asked advice on music.
Still brings a tear to my eye and guess anyone who loses someone after illness/hospitalisation will relate to it.

What an emotional song, I felt myself filling up. I was also at my mums side when she passed away, thanks for sharing.
