My first Kindle book is coming out really soon and reviews make or break Kindle books, so I need a little help from my friends. There will be several books / collectionsof mine coming out over the next few months so getting plenty of reviews (good or bad!) on the first release is crucial.

So I'm looking for folk I can send freebies of my first Kindle book to in PDF or Word format in exchange for an honest review on Amazon. No pressure to write an epic review.

This first book is a very short (true) comic story about getting trapped in an NCP car park and is only 5000 words long. If you would like a copy please PM me.

Getting anywhere in writing or in music occasionally requires calling in kind favours from friends and family but is always very appreciated.

Getting trapped in an NCP car park, is not firing me up with enthusiasm tbh. What's the next one?

Ha, there's a bit more to it of course! The next ones are about being in trouble as a kid and being in rubbish bands. Then the novel will be out about Christmas with any luck.

Have you considered putting these short stories into a larger collection? Five thousand words is really too short for a book. You generally figure 60,000 or so. And as was noted above a book about being stuck in a car park would have limited appeal, but as part of a broader collection of stories these limitations would be negated.

Not saying it isn't a witty and engaging story - it may well be - but as a stand alone it would be a tough sell. And if I were buying a book on Kindle I would expect a lot more than 5000 words.

PM sent. I think it's worth helping new authors along. Once they've been noticed, the paying public can then decide whether or not to read.
