My director's brother removed two and a half toes with a bladed strimmer last Sunday. Spent 48 hours in hospital and needed an operation.

I can see 22 full and part lashes there!
How did he manage that?
The only bladed strimmers I've come across have a pole too long for the blade to meet your toes while you are holding it, and a 'dead man's handle' that stops the blade if you let go.

It's been over two hours. Should we be worried?
