My first 50 today :)

Just that really 3hrs 28mins around mid Dorset. Took in the long side of Oakford hill too. Spectacular views.

Just a bit achy in my shoulders is all, but nothing like the pain I had some weeks ago. Moving the seat forward helped loads so looks like it was that.

Never thought in a million years I'd be able to ride 50 miles :

Ah, 14.42mph maybe not a headline grabbing figure but still pretty respectable (and still quicker than me grumble, grumble, grumble).

cool! A few weeks till my first 60 I think. Need to sort the saddle out before that!

I intend to do 60 miles every Saturday for the next 4 weeks or so and then increase to 70 until I eventually hit 100 miles.

I have always been a lone rider. I enjoy the freedom cycling gives me, to visit where I like, relax and go back home. I have never seen myself taking part in any form of sportive activities.

I did 52 yesterday in 3. 22 and worked my socks off, felt bad when i saw you had done it in 2.28 but now feel a lot better, 50 more planed for tommorow, Great riding by the way.
