My first 50 today :)

I have always been a lone rider. I enjoy the freedom cycling gives me, to visit where I like, relax and go back home. I have never seen myself taking part in any form of sportive activities.

I just wanted a training target, something to get me going I did my first club ride the other day and it was very enjoyable riding with others. Also booked onto a 53m sportive in April so after today that should be ok.

Nice one Matt, you'll have to do the Metric Century next (100km, 62.miles).

Yeah it will be my next target. I put a demon hill in today's ride too. It's hard to go those kind of distances around here and not hit a ball breaker, so I need to get used to them. I think I'll plan a ride out east and into the new Forrest next time, I'm getting a bit bored with the same routes!
