My first Ghost rider this year!

I was'nt slowing down this morning approaching a set of lights that had conveniantly turned green allowing me to wizz in to the Old Kent rd, I still had a quick glance to my right just to double check there where no cars jumping the lights!

Trouble was it was'nt a car jumping the lights it was another cyclist, ye ok now he did slow and let me go in front, but that's not the point!! Is it?

We where both doing about 20 mph and if we had hit I dont think it would have been pretty!



All I want to say is' "Cyclists Dont jump red lights, it's dangerous"!!!

and it really pisses me off!!!


Oh and as the title suggests he did'nt have any lights on his bike either!!!!!

similar thing happened to me on brixton hill, coming up to a bus stopping at a stop, doing about 25mph down the road. indicate right to come out of the bus lane. Looking over my shoulder i can see the car behind is letting me in, take a little longer look to see if any cyclists are behind me, and low and behold, guy comes down, wizzes past me and then cuts up the car infront of me causing him to slam on his brakes and making the rest of us do so, totaly irresponsible.

The worst thing is that when these idiots are not riding theri bikes they could be driving their cars They won't behave any any better because they sometimes cycle as well.

So all you 'orrible red light jumpers, is that how you drive as well? I rather think so.

Saw quite a few rljers with no lights last night on my 0015 return commute this morning including the one just past the Waldorf Hotel lights which he had just jumped going towards Fleet Street.His positioning was correct I would have thought.I would have been on the right as well if I could get there and then crossed back over to the left.That crossing over can be dodgy though so you have to take your time.

Looked dodgy for a minute although the moton was driving like a tit and too fast.No lights crossed in front of him,must have been hard to see.

In three weeks in Sri Lanka, with thousands of cyclists all over the place, I didn't see a single one with a light on at night. But as they are mostly Buddhists I suppose death isn't taken as seriously.

Ha ha!!!

Maybe I should chill and become a Buddhist!!!!

RLJ just gives other road users ammo against us all,just wonder what goes through their minds to think it is safe to do so.
Another thing that i have noticed is kids riding the wrong way up the road Never thought i would have a head on with a BMX on my travels !!!!

I RLJ on my bike several times a week, I never do it in my car.

As I said, load of cock. Typical militant anal cyclist with nothing better to do than complain about other cyclists and motorists. Get a life and enjoy your own ride and stop stressing about what other people are doing.
