Here's my first post. Been commuting for four months now. Rain, hail or shine.

Invested in a Specialized Tricross and good cycle wear. Just as well. Check out this week's forecast!

Down here the Met Office forecast usually looks more miserable than the weather that follows it.

Sounds like you and I have been at this cycle-commuting lark for about the same time, so I'm feelin' you there!!

I have to say tho...and I know I will regret this...but I am actually surprised at how "little" it really does rain...I know the weather is rarely "FAB" but I haven't had more than 3 "full-on" soakings in the 4 months I've ridden.

best I go check the forecast now.

Up to now I haven't minded cycling in the rain, particularly in the warm rain we had here in London through September and October. Lovely.

I just have a problem with being too cold though, but nothing a set of waterproofs shouldn't be able to solve.

I chanced bringing my go-faster (TM) bike into as it was dry this morning. I'm now hoping the raid will have passed through Glasgow by the time I leave tonight! Fingers crossed.....
