You'll be taking it in the shower for a wash when you get home, Dave! And plenty of lubing up as well. Got your can of WD40 handy?

Oh no I wont! the wife would kill me if I lugged my bike up the stairs!

It is pouring down outside, so it certainly will need a clean over the weekend!

Anyway, what is all this talk of showers and lubing up...:?:

Welcome

Sounds like you and I have been at this cycle-commuting lark for about the same time, so I'm feelin' you there!!;)

I have to say tho...and I know I will regret this...but I am actually surprised at how "little" it really does rain...I know the weather is rarely "FAB" but I haven't had more than 3 "full-on" soakings in the 4 months I've ridden.

best I go check the forecast now.

I can't remember the exact figure, but I think I've seen a statistic that the average commuter will only get heavily rained on 11 days a year. It may rain more often than that, but if it rains at night, or on the weekend, or during the day but not at coming in or going home time, it doesn't really matter to the commuter.
