My first proper off

Going around a roundabout and just came off. Not sure whether I leaned in too much or hit an oily patch or what all I know is it bloomin smarts!
I've also bashed my knee up pretty good and my wrist is really stiff.
Bike looks repairable just scuffed up.

I'm guessing you've not yet seen a doctor Might be worth a trip to A&E if things get more sore (especially if they swell)

Ouch! That's really gonna sting. I'd be tempted to pop to A&E to get that wrist and knee checked out.

Hope you heal quick by the way, and the bike damage tidies up nice and easy. As you say, sounds like road surface unless you were really giving it some lean.

Diesel, oil etc is the roundabout near a filling station? As a motorcyclist I've done this and you have my sympathies, at least I was wearing leathers (it still hurt a lot and was rather more expensive)
Or failing that just unlucky. Hope you feel better soon.

Had a bad off couple of months ago on a sheet of ice, wrist hurt a lot, went to A&E in the evening because wrist had swollen badly but luckily only sprained and was x-rayed and seen within an hour.
Nurse did say to keep moving fingers like a gripping motion.

Its definately a bike, Can't identify the brand but it looks like a road bike to me.

Looks like a good excuse to upgrade the groupset Should be ok with the bent one, mine did that. I think the chap in Evans told @jefmcg who rescued my bike said they are meant to do that., He straightened it with no bother

Right wow, erm its a Samsung washing machine for the enthusiasts, bike has knocked back into shape for now, im mainly a commuter so can live with the damage tbh I'm not fussed about a pristine bike.
@vickster @MikeW-71, I've just been at the wife's request and all is OK, just swelling and bruising.
@Cuchilo the red cheek gang may sound cool but your right, it sucks!
@Justinslow it was near a petrol station which is why I'm assuming oil or diesel, just one of those things I guess
@uclown2002 I love a dirty bike he he, it actually gets used during the winter and I can never be arsed to clean it every commute. My MTB is worse!
