My first SMIDSY.. well sort of

Grrrrr I'm still angry about this morning.

Coming around a small roundabout this morning just outside work, taking the 2 o'clock exit, arm out indicating, yellow top on, flashing lights in the rain.. Some toss bag comes out of the 12 o'clock exit and cuts right in front. Luckily my advanced bike training caused me to spot him and realised by the cars body language that he was going to do it so I quickly turned into the roundabout and he missed me.

What annoyed me the most is he didn't even say sorry, or even acknowledge my existence.. So he's not really a SMIDSY I suppose.

Still only my nerves were shaken, no impact and no damage. So all ends well.. But just how visible do I have to be? It's crazy.

In any case, hi-viz is much 'louder' than an air-horn!
