Well, if it were a choice of slapping a vehicle or being squashed, I'm pretty sure I'd go for the slap every time
I slapped a bus once after the driver decided he was going to crush me into a wall rather than wait behind me, and the driver immediately went absolutely apes***
It's ok, though. He got in a whole world of trouble, I had a meeting with some senior staff, and since then all the Arriva buses in Derby have been staggeringly considerate.

These motons think its ok to put us in danger and think when we slap their precious car/van/whatever then we have just banged their missus/fella and go mental.

I've been tempted, on two occasions where I've been squeezed towards the kerb whilst being badly overtaken. On both occasions a loud 'Oi!' seemed to alert the driver of my presence, so no slap required.
