Pulled up behind a very new, very large audi at some lights and noticed a very well filled purse resting on the boot lid.

The car was just beginning to move off as I managed to grab the purse and pedal off fast bang on the boot lid to attract the drivers attention.

We pulled over a few yards up and completed the hand over to much thank you's.

Fate owes me a really good tailwind home one day now

But fate will give you a left hook from an Audi, while the driver phones home to tell them all about the cyclist who just returned their purse....

Nice one.
I once drove out of Sainsburys car park with a box of fresh cream cakes on my roof.
No-one stopped me. I only noticed when I braked and they flew past me and landed on the road in front!

A bloke at work did a similar thing with a handbag on a roof in a petrol station, he got a kiss off the very nice young lady as a reward.
