Um, is it not just a case of putting the bike in facing outwards? It looks to me like that's what the design intends.

It might be, but that makes it much more awkward to transfer your purchases from trolley to rear panniers.

I think this thread just proves that occasionally Txxxo get it right, but often they get it wrong and they are unwilling to correct defective installations, or even take action to prevent installation errors recurring at new stores.
