My New bike! First roadie!

Hey everyone! I'm pretty new to these forums! I'm English but live in Ireland currently.

I bought my first road bike and had it shipped over to IE during the week. Didn't want to spend much on a bike so I went for an old roadie which has stood the test of time

Here she is:

Anyone have any ideas on age of the bike? I have no clue

1980's would be my guess. Nice bike - saddle is too far forward though.

Yeah, don't have any tools to adjust, just bought a lil cheapo maintenance kit from argos on lunch

Your bike would be from about 1982, or there about! I used one of them as a training bike in the mid 80's

Aero Levers would put it later half of the 80's. My 86 Raleigh Road Ace had non-aero levers, soon upgraded to aero.
